Varilux Progressive lenses

A pair of genuine Varilux progressive lenses, fitted into your frame with the Crizal Prevencia anti-reflective coating included, costs €290 (Varilux Liberty 3.0), €390 (Varilux Comfort Max) or €490 (Varilux Physio extensee). Essilor’s recommended retail price for the same lens is €654, €828 and €1,000 per pair respectively. Optional extras — Crizal Sapphire HR, Eye Protect System, photochromic or polarised lenses, thinner 1.6/1.67 indexes or rimless frames — are added in the configurator and you see the final price before paying.

The second pair comes at half price and does not have to match the first: it can be sun, occupational, single vision or a different range. You pay the higher-priced pair in full and the other at 50%. For example, two identical pairs of Varilux Liberty cost €435 (€290 + €145). If the second pair is identical, tick it in the configurator (“Yes, I want my second pair”); if it is different, message us on WhatsApp before ordering and we will prepare it with the discount. Send us both frames and we fit both pairs in the same order.

In the configurator you can choose Varilux Liberty 3.0, Comfort Max and Physio extensee, the three ranges we fit every day. If your optician recommended another Varilux or Essilor lens, ask us before ordering: as an authorised dealer we will confirm whether we can supply it and at what price.

All our Varilux lenses are made by Essilor and carry its laser authenticity engraving, visible against the light, plus the authenticity guarantee card. We are an authorised Essilor dealer.

Varilux lenses are made to order for your prescription and your frame: the usual lead time is 5 to 10 working days from the day we receive your glasses. We email you at every step.

When you complete your order we tell you how: you can request home collection or drop it at a pick-up point, and the price already includes collection and return. Keep the glasses in their hard case and, if you can, in a small box.

Yes. Our opticians analyse the geometry of your frame, check that it has the minimum lens height required for a progressive (usually 18-20 mm) and manufacture the Varilux lenses to the exact contour of your glasses. During fitting we adjust the front and temples so that the progression corridor matches the natural position of your pupils.

We offer a 90-day adaptation guarantee. If you have difficulties within that period, our opticians check the centring, the corridor design and the coatings. If the problem persists and has no technical solution, we arrange a replacement. There is zero financial risk for you.

Liberty 3.0 is the entry-level progressive: fast adaptation and comfortable, stable vision, with the best value for money. Comfort Max increases comfort and widens the field of vision, ideal if you combine driving, screens and reading every day. Physio extensee is the premium range, with the most natural and extended vision and a special focus on intermediate distance (computer, dashboard, everyday life).

Always use the microfibre cloth, wet the lens with water before wiping it (dust acts like sandpaper), avoid paper or tissues, and never leave your glasses on the car dashboard in summer (heat degrades surface coatings).
