Presbyopia appears around age 40: the lens of the eye loses flexibility and suddenly you need to hold your phone further away or push the restaurant menu back. Progressive lenses solve this with no bifocals or two pairs of glasses.

Write via WhatsAppMost users adapt within 7 to 21 days. During that period it is normal to feel a slight sensation of floating ground or distortion at the side edges when walking. These are normal symptoms while the brain learns the new visual pattern. If discomfort persists after 3-4 weeks, contact our opticians: it may be a matter of centring or corridor design.
Initial dizziness has two causes: the brain has not yet learnt which area of the lens to use for each distance (this resolves with continued use), or there is an error in the optical centring. We take pupillary measurements with digital precision before manufacturing to minimise the second problem. If it persists, we review it under warranty.
Yes, it is the main use case of our service. Many customers have had a frame that fits them perfectly for years and only need to update the prescription. We collect the glasses, manufacture the new lenses with your updated prescription, fit them with millimetric precision and return them to your home.
The difference lies in the progression corridor. A basic progressive has a narrower corridor, with more lateral blur. A high-end progressive (such as Kodak Unique HD or premium range) calculates the corridor with digital free-form technology adapted to the geometry of the eye and the user's posture: more comfort, less fatigue and faster adaptation.
