Single vision ZEISS lenses in your own frame
The ZEISS lenses we fit on this page are single vision: they correct one distance, either far or near. You send us your glasses, we make the ZEISS lenses to your prescription and send them back fitted by registered opticians. You keep your frame and only pay for the lenses.
Carl Zeiss is a German maker of precision optics. Every pair comes with the ZEISS laser engraving of authenticity and the official ZEISS certificate.
Which ZEISS lenses suit the way you use your glasses
Before you look at indexes and coatings, think about what you will use the glasses for. These are the starting prices, per pair:

DuraVision Silver or Platinum: which one is worth it
- DuraVision Silver comes with the clear and sun lenses. It removes reflections and is enough for most wearers.
- DuraVision Platinum resists scratches better, repels water and attracts less dust. It is worth it if you clean your glasses a lot, work in dusty places or choose a high index and want to look after your lenses.
BlueGuard and photochromic lenses already include Platinum.
How to choose the index if you have astigmatism
Do not look only at the sphere when you choose the thickness. If your prescription has a cylinder, add sphere and cylinder together: that meridian sets how thick the edge will be. We explain how to read it in our article on astigmatism.
With strong prescriptions, the difference between index 1.67 and 1.74 shows most in large frames. See thinner lenses for high prescriptions.
How to order, step by step
- Set up your ZEISS lenses: distance (far or near), frame type, lens type, index and coating.
- Give us your prescription in the way that suits you: type it in, upload a photo or PDF of it, email it, reuse the one from your last order, or send us your current single vision glasses and we measure it ourselves.
- Add your pupillary distance and a photo of the frame so we can centre the lenses correctly. If you do not know your pupillary distance, send us a photo wearing the glasses and we guide you through it.
- Send us your glasses. Return shipping is free on orders over €50. Collection is free in mainland Spain and Portugal; elsewhere its cost is shown in the basket before you pay.
- We check the prescription, make and fit the lenses, and send your glasses back.
If you would rather fit them yourself or take them to your optician, you can order uncut lenses. We also fit rimless frames and Oakley sunglasses.
Do you need to see far and near with the same glasses?
