Sports and curved sunglasses (wraparound, high-base) are great for running, cycling or driving, but fitting prescription lenses is not like with a normal pair. Due to their strong curvature, a conventional lens causes lateral distortion, a dizzy feeling and aberrations at the edges.
At Lens4Glasses we make prescription lenses for wraparound glasses with high-base, digital free-form technology, which compensates for the frame's curve so you see clearly across your whole field of vision, with no discomfort. We use your own sports frame: you send it to us, we fit your curved prescription replacement lenses, and we send it back ready to wear.

This is precisely our speciality: we fit curved sunglasses with the right geometry so vision is sharp and comfortable across the whole field, not just in the centre.
Dizziness appears when a conventional (low-base) lens is fitted into a highly curved frame: aberrations and distortion are generated at the sides. The solution is a high-base lens with free-form surfacing, which recalculates the power point by point according to the frame's curve to eliminate that discomfort.
Yes. With high-base digital surfacing we compensate for the wrap angle and the frame's tilt, so the aberrations and peripheral distortion that do appear with a standard lens are eliminated.
